Information Technology in Tenerife
An incentive event for an information technology multinational such as HP, with accounts coming from all over Europe. An opportunity to celebrate the results obtained and to encourage participants with an exclusive motivational event, making them feel part of a high level organisation.
Simonetta Rota – more than events was hired to manage the entire planning phase of the event, finding the perfect location on the enchanting island of Tenerife, and planning a challenging team building activity: the creation of a commercial that would then be shown at a Hollywood-themed gala dinner.
BRIEF: Few, but compelling, customer requirements: manage the design phase of an incentive event for salespersons from all over Europe. A business event that would offer a different, personal experience to remember. Destination: an exotic destination, no more than 4 hours away by plane. 90 participants, all put up in single rooms.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to come up with the organisation of an incentive event for lots of people from very different backgrounds. To come up with a full programme of activities, offering not just continuous entertainment, but also diversified and personalised experiences for everybody. The customer gave us a lot of freedom, without providing indications that were too precise: on the one hand, that made it paradoxically more difficult to identify a proposal that would really hit the mark, but, on the other, it gave us even more satisfaction when the result was fully achieved.
